NEW APPROACH TO AUTOMATIC SKETCHING OF PLANAR KINEMATIC CHAINS BASED ON LOOP CONFIGURATION AND IT’S COMPUTERIZATION

Abstract: A new approach to automatic sketching of planar kinematic chain from its adjacent matrix is proposed. The basic loops of the graph, which correspond to the adjacent matrix of kinematic chain, are derived by means of broadness-first spanning tree firstly, then these loops are standardized and reordered according to some rules. Finally, the graph of kinematic chain is automatically sketched out in terms of the sequential loops. In addition, the comparison between the new approach and exist-ing ones is made. Through some application cases, the effec-tiveness and completeness of the new approach is verified. The implementation of corresponding computer prototype system is given.
