Abstract: The idea of three-views is applied to the analysis and design process of DNC (Distributed numerical control) system, so that a kind of DNC system model based on three-views is established. With O-O method as main view, a formalized model is built to present the architecture of the DNC system, and with E-R diagram and Event-Response model as subsidiary view, a class model is built. Thus a system solution which enable the reuse of resource is put forward. The DNC system based on the idea has successfully implemented in a factory, which shows the model is practical.
