Abstract: The development of electric vehicles is the essential strategic choice to deal with carbon neutrality and national energy structure transformation. As the major energy storage system for electric vehicles, power batteries are of crucial importance for vehicles. The battery management system determines the performances of battery state estimation, consistency management, thermal management, thermal runaway monitoring and others. Owing to that the performance evolution of power battery for whole lifespan is micro fuzzy and complex, the current battery management system is limited by conditions, where the stored data is insufficient, and the simplified model suffers from inaccurate management. As the progress of cloud management, the vehicle-cloud integration for power battery management delivers a potential solution for future system. Focusing on the power battery cloud management and control method, systematically analysis is carried out including the battery cloud model construction method, battery life and safety management strategy. Moreover, the cloud management technology is discussed under the advanced electronic and electrical architecture. By comparing and analyzing the comprehensive advantages and disadvantages of current battery management technology, the feasible solution for cloud management is predicted for providing future theoretical reference for power battery cloud management and control technology.
