Abstract: In order to solve the problems of uncoordinated deformation, interface oxidation and low bonding strength in the process of rolling steel/aluminum laminated plate, a method of prefabricating corrugation by cold rolling and flat roller leveling by hot rolling was proposed. Firstly, cold rolling the initial blank with corrugated roll mill, and the steel/aluminum laminated plate with corrugated aluminum side was prefabricated. It can not only avoid the deformation coordination of bimetallic, but also make aluminum cover with steel to prevent its high temperature oxidation because the aluminum is too thin. Then forming the steel/aluminum laminated plate slab with aluminum alloy plate, heat to 500 ℃ and rolling them on flat roll mill, and the straight steel/aluminum/aluminum alloy laminated plate with corrugated interface was successfully prepared. The effects of different prefabricating corrugation processes on the interface morphology and property of the steel/aluminum/aluminum alloy laminated plate during the rolling process were analyzed. The results show that:① Heating treatment of aluminum strip before rolling can improve its ductility and reduce its deformation resistance of aluminum strip, which is beneficial to improve the coordinated deformation of steel and aluminum bimetal in the prefabrication process.② There is an optimum reduction ratio in the process of prefabricating steel/aluminum laminated plate. If the reduction ratio is too small, it is not easy to combine, and if too large, the aluminum layer will break by corrugated roller.③By optimizing the prefabrication process, the final steel/aluminum/aluminum alloy laminated plate realizes the mechanical and metallurgical bonding between the layers and the average interface shear strength reaches the maximum of 77.68 MPa in the rolling direction and 92.63 MPa in the transverse direction, which is far higher than the national standards 60 MPa. The research results provide a new idea for improving the interface bonding strength of steel/aluminum laminated plate.
