Abstract: With the increase of drilling depth, the strength, hardness and abrasiveness of the formation rocks increase obviously, which lead to the low rock-breaking efficiency of the drill bit. Meanwhile, as the length of drill string increases, the torsional stiffness of the drill string system decreases. The downhole string system is prone to sticking, slippage and other phenomena. In order to improve the rock breaking efficiency and reduce the stick-slip phenomenon of the drill bit, the kinematics model and dynamic model of the composite impact are established. According to the theoretical model, a new composite impactor is proposed, which uses the designed structural parameters of the new composite impactor and the performance parameters verify the correctness of the theoretical model. At the same time, according to the theoretical model, the influence law of the input flow on the dynamic characteristics of the new composite impactor is studied. The simulation results are used to verify the reliability of the theory. R&D and application selection have important guiding significance.
