Impact Analysis of Multi Hanging Equipment on High Speed Train Ride Comfort

Abstract: The 27-freedom degree vehicle-equipment coupling system is established to research the impact of multi hanging equipment on the high speed train vertical ride comfort index, and the acceleration frequency response characteristics in the middle car body and above the bogie are obtained. Also, the Germanic vertical track irregularity spectrum and the ride comfort filtering function are brought into calculating the comfort index at the reference points. The effect of equipment or without equipment, the suspension frequency and the suspension position on the vertical comfort index of the vehicle are studied respectively. The result shows that:Hanging equipment has large influence on the vehicle vertical comfort index not only in the middle car, but also above the bogie car body. The 10.2 Hz is chosen as suitable suspending frequency for equipment 1; less than 8 Hz for the frame in the double isolation system, and 11-12 Hz for the equipment 2. Compared to equipment 1, the suspension position of the double isolation hanging have larger influence on the ride comfort index. When hanging at 13.5 m, the vehicle has better ride experience.
