Abstract:

A strategy of model switch based on fuzzy control is proposed in order to meet the optimal performance of hydraulically interconnected inerter-spring-damper suspension (HIISDS), which during the global operating condition. The working principal of HIISDS has been briefly introduced at first, two different road excitations are used to validate the adaption of the two suspension modes, a parameter of mode switch is then derived through the simulation results. Second, mode switch strategy as well as mode recognition of suspension working modes are designed, the fuzzy controller which based on the mode switch has also been developed, and the result of simulation is basically consistent with expectations. Finally, a HIISDS suspension prototype is designed based on simulation results, and test results reconfirm that the fuzzy control of mode switch of HIISDS modes effectively.
