In order to fully explore plug-in hybrid electric bus (PHEB) fuel saving potential, enhance the adaptability of different types of vehicle driver, the model of driver’s intention recognition is increased base on the control strategy of rules. To fuzzy recognition of driving style and accelerating intention built the identification model which is proved by the semi physical simulation of driver in the loop. The torque correction coefficientk of the fuzzy recognizer, what the input of the results of the driving style and accelerated intention, is established, and thenk is got though defuzzificating and modifying the demand torque. The fuzzy query table is generated correspondingly using test system tool. The simulation and experiment results show that the control strategy of driver’s intention is more suitable for the operation and electric mechanism of PHEB, fuel economy is improved by 1.8%.
