Traceability Analysis of Design Quality Characteristics Based on Association Network

Abstract: Tracing the source is the premise of quality problem correction. In order to trace the source of the quality problem in the process of product design, a traceability method based on association network is proposed by the studying of the correlation and fluctuation propagation mechanism of product design quality characteristic. First of all, a unified modeling method of multi-domain association information based on matrix computation is proposed. The local correlation matrices of design quality characteristics are established with the design rules and assembly relationships of products as the basic correlation information. The global correlation matrix of design quality characteristics is obtained through the matrix computation between local correlation matrices, which is then mapped into a global correlation network of design quality characteristics, and a complete and traceable correlation model of design quality characteristics is established. Furthermore, a quantitative analysis method for the impact of fluctuations is proposed. The quantitative model for the fluctuation metric of nodes and quantitative rules for the intensity of fluctuation propagation of associated edges are established, based on which the risk propagation of different associated propagation patterns can be quantitatively assessed. Then, on the basis of the abovementioned study, the surface design quality characteristics for a specific quality problem are obtained by analyzing the multi-layer network of quality problem-problem cause-design quality characteristics, the upstream breadth-first search is carried out on the association network of design quality characteristics, and the fluctuation diagnosis is carried out to obtain the design quality characteristics of the source fluctuation and its fluctuation path. The final tracing result can be obtained by quantitative analysis of the fluctuation propagation risk of the fluctuation path. Finally, an example of crane drum deformation is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. The results show that the method has advantages over other algorithms in terms of accuracy and the balance between algorithmic efficiency and cost.
