Abstract: Reasonable test scenarios and objective evaluation methods could rapidly promote the development of autonomous technology, but the current quantitative evaluation methods of autonomous vehicles still need some human participation, which led to the strong subjectivity of the evaluation results. The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and the criteria importance though intercriteria correlation (CRITIC) were utilized to determine the weight of evaluation index, and the grey correlation theory was implemented to evaluate the vehicle quantitatively. The experimental results shown that the evaluation results of the grey correlation theory and the traditional fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method had high consistency. Meanwhile, the proposed methodology reduced the subjectivity and saved the cost of inviting a large number of experts to participate in the evaluation.
