Abstract: The new field of bionic mechanics research, artificial self-recovery principle is discussed. Artificial self-recovery refers to the Chinese traditional medicine "self-conditioning is the first principle of therapeutics",and the self-recovery mechanism of human and animal is given to the machine to make the machine store, supplement and mobilize the self-recovery force to maintain health. Artificial self-recovery technology includes self-repairing, compensatory, self-protection and self-recovery regulation technology. The artificial intelligence imitates the human brain's consciousness thought to control behavior, realizes the automation and makes machines smarter; Artificial self-recovery can imitate the self-recovery mechanism of human body's unconscious thinking, and realize self-recovery by preventing and restraining faults in operation. It is discussed that the theory of engineering self-recovery is a branch of cybernetics research field, expanding the research field of cybernetics and engineering cybernetics. Three body model of artificial self-recovery and artificial intelligence cyber physics system is proposed. Artificial self-recovery will make machines healthier, from fault fast and exact diagnosis to accurate and stable self-recovery regulation and control, and is the autonomous healthy foundation of machine and even artificial creation system, which has broad application prospect.
