Reliability Growth Test Study of Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope Reflective Surface Hydraulic Actuator

Abstract: After Five-hundred-meter aperture spherical radio telescope reflective(FAST) is completed, vibration and noise problems in hydraulic system pipeline of individual FAST hydraulic actuators are aimed. The reliability test-bed was built, and the reliability growth test was done. After the cause of it been found, the reliability optimization design of the original system was carried out, and the flow field analysis of the improved structure design was done to determine it. Based on Duane model, a suitable reliability growth of hydraulic system pipeline test scheme is formulated. The failure statistics of type B of the prototype are obtained by reliability growth test, and the cumulative MTBF and its reliability growth model are obtained. The ASMAA model is used to test the reliability growth trend of FAST hydraulic actuator hydraulic system pipeline. The instantaneous MTBF and confidence interval of the reliability level at the end are obtained. The reliability optimization design of hydraulic system pipeline meets the planning requirements. Theoretical basis is laid for ensuring the long-term reliability of FAST hydraulic actuator group.
