Abstract: Magnetic Barkhausen Noise is one of the important techniques for material performance and stress state detection. When the material is magnetized, the position of the Barkhausen Noise transmission and the position of the signal receiver directly determine the acquired signal. Eventually affecting the test results. the magnetic Barkhausen noise emission intensity distribution of the material surface under different excitation conditions by exciting with U-shaped electromagnet is studied. Use the coil wrapped around the ferrite core as a receiver, scanned the distribution of the MBN signal on the surface of the test sample. Through these signal distribution, The relationship between the magnetization of the material and the emission intensity distribution of MBN was obtained, and the effect of the receiver position to the received signal.
