Abstract: In recent years, submarine communication with aircraft-towed cables has been studied by many countries, where the configuration and tension of cable and interference during deployment is focused on. Based on this, a simplified transient dynamic model (deployment included) of double cables is built up, and sensibility and influence of variables on cables are studied by numerical computation method; a proper deployment scheme is chosen and safety analysis is conducted in aspect of tension and interference of double cables during deployment. The results show that the four variables with relatively obvious influence on max tension in transient state are V, CD, d and L for both long and short cables. Tension as small as possible could be attained by reducing V, CD, d and L of both cables. Deployment during hover is preferred and under circumstance in this essay, severe negative interference between cables doesn't occur.
