Abstract:
The traditional hot forming product has high strength, but the plasticity is usually low, and the mechanical properties are always same, comprehensive mechanical performance is not high. It is difficult to meet the increasing requires of the variable gradient characteristics of hot forming parts. The variable gradient hot forming technology is thoroughly studied. The hot stamping process of sheet under non-uniform temperature field is analyzed by the MARC software and the evolution law and its influencing factors of hot forming process are revealed by experiments. By using the principle of metal solid phase, the mechanical properties of the formed parts are different under different microstructures. The microstructure distribution of sheet is discussed in the hot forming under non-uniform temperature field and a gradient mixed microstructure of ferrite-pearlite, ferrite-pearlite-martensite and martensite is obtained by establishing the non-uniform temperature field. The hot forming under non-uniform temperature field improves the comprehensive mechanics performance of the forming parts greatly, it provides a new research direction for hot forming technology and widens the hot forming parts category.
