Dynamic Evolution of Products’ Dimensional Accuracy during Ultraviolet-cured Molding

Abstract: UV cured molding is a kind of chemical manufacturing which is used to manufacture products with complex micro shapes. The way to ensure the accuracy of once-molded product is different from the way of mental cutting products. A device is employed to simulate the pressure、heat and light in the molding conditions and it can monitor the material shrinkage during UV-cured molding. Four kinds of resin is tested under the condition of 5 MPa, 20 ℃. The result shows that the shrinkage of material can be recorded online. The result is reproducibility and in real time. The shrinkage values of the four kind resins tested by the device are from 2.91% to 6.96%. The shrinkage value tested by the device is a bit smaller than the value tested by the buoyancy method. The result can show the Evolution of products’ size truly. The method has vast importance to ensure the accuracy of products and it is important to find the reason of products’ defect and to find the measure to demolish the defect.
