Abstract: Through fusion of vibration information collected from two mutually perpendicular radial directions, the balancing scheme obtained by Holobalancing method can ensure the overall vibration level at any radial directions. However, there are still some deficiencies in the Holobalancing method when the initial phase vector(IPV) is used as the balancing object. According to the analysis of the relationship between mass unbalance response and the anisotropic rotor-bearing system, it is found that the unbalance mass is linearly mapped to the IPV. If the axial position of the original unbalance mass is inconsistent with the balancing planes, the time coupling problem brought by the elliptical mapping relationship between mass unbalance and system response is the main reason that makes the balancing scheme unreliable. A phase compensation method is presented to eliminate this problem through a balancing scheme optimization process. Finally, the reliability of this method is verified by simulation experiment and case study.
