Kevlar纤维张力索蠕变性能研究

Creep Behaviors of Kevlar Tension Cable

摘要: Kevlar纤维具有高强高模、耐高温、耐辐射等优越性能,由Kevlar纤维制成的张力索越来越多地应用到航天航空领域。针对Kevlar纤维张力索蠕变问题,利用电子蠕变机测试了不同温度、不同载荷条件下的热膨胀系数和蠕变规律。通过试验发现,Kevlar纤维张力索的热膨胀系数随着温度升高、力密度的增大而增大;确定了一种Kevlar纤维张力索合适的预拉伸方法;蠕变试验表明,Kevlar的蠕变速率起初迅速下降,最后逐渐趋于恒定,且随着加载力增大、温度升高,Kevlar蠕变现象越来越明显。基于恒温恒载假设的Andrade理论,对Kevlar纤维张力索蠕变试验数据进行了拟合,建立了考虑张力和温度的蠕变特性模型。

Abstract: Kevlar fiber has many superior properties, such as high strength and high modulus, heat resistance, and radiation resistance etc. The tension cables made of Kevlar fiber are increasingly used in the aerospace field. The thermal expansion coefficient and creep behaviors of Kevlar fiber under the conditions of different temperatures and loads are revealed using the electronic creep testing machine. The experimental results indicate the thermal expansion coefficient increases with temperatures and force density. A suitable pretreatment method for Kevlar tension cables is established. The creep experiments show the creep rate of Kevlar decreases rapidly with time at first and then tends to be constant. The higher the loading forces and temperatures are, the more obvious the creep phenomenon of Kevlar tension cables is. Based on the hypothesis of constant temperature and dead load, the Andrade theory is used to fit the experimental data. As a result, the creep behaviors model considering tension and temperature is established.
